Red House wins Wau Primary School sports carnival

RED House won the three-day Wau Primary School Inter-House Carnival and was presented with the inaugural trophy which sponsored by PEZ Enterprise on Thursday Sept 13.

Red House won with 155 points followed by Blue (150), Green (149) and Yellow (130).

The students took part in rugby touch, volleyball,basketball and soccer games over three days starting on Tuesday.

Many raw sporting talents displayed by the students were identified from the four sports. 

School board chairman Maru Bati handed the trophy to the Red House captain in front students and teachers after the carnival.

Head teacher Mathew Humango and sports teacher Philip David congratulated Red House for winning the inaugural trophy.

It will be returned back to sponsor PEZ Enterprise to engrave the house name and the year.

It will be formally handed over during the school graduation at the end of the year.

"I thank all the four houses for taking part in the inter-house carnival this year," David said.

"I also extend my words of appreciation to all the teachers for their great support in the past three days."
